Lina Ruth Harder

I am a PhD Fellow at the University of Bergen’s Center for Digital Narrative (CDN), where I study how artificial intelligence simulates historical figures through chatbots, voice clones, and AI-generated images. I focus on how large language models and conversational interfaces influence new narrative forms and their impact on audiences, cultural memory, education, and storytelling.

Who owns an AI-generated likeness? How do we address bias and consent?
What happens when archives fall silent or history is rewritten by machines?

My approach is practice-based. I build and test AI-driven narrative experiences to understand how they shape our engagement with the past. I have worked in communication and curation at museums in Germany, developing exhibitions and digital content.

I welcome opportunities for collaboration, invited talks, research partnerships, curatorial projects, and peer review. I am a native German speaker, fluent in English, and have working proficiency in French.

To discuss potential cooperation, please contact me by email.
